END OF SEASON DRAWS NEAR IN THE WOLVERHAMPTON LEAGUE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Sunday League. It was however very disappointing that 'Cunning Stunts' were unable to fulfil their fixture for the second week running. As per the terms and conditions the team will now be removed from the league with immediate effect. We understand this opens up a space in the league however it is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week. 

Game of the night goes to the game between 'Warstones FC' and 'Wolves GAFC'. A brilliant game that could have gone either way but ended in a 2-2 draw with the last kick of the game. 'Warstones FC' came close to a shock result with the way the table is playing out but the result should give them confidence going into the final games. 'Wolves GAFC' are now one point clear of 3rd place 'Knuckin Fackered' can they catch 'Queens Shark Rangers'?

Because of the result above 'Warstones FC' are our team of the week. A fantastic team that have a brilliant attitude each and every week to just want to play football with there mates. The result didn't quite go there way however they can have a lot of pride in the performance and look forward to next weeks games with optimism and excitement. Can they continue the good work.

Can all teams please remember that the league will be played at Tipton RSA Academy again next week on Sunday 15th March 2020 so please remember this when planning you journeys to the league.
