FANTASTIC GAMES AS WE HIT HALFWAY IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

Great to see some wonderful games played to bring us to halfway through the season during the Wolverhampton Sunday League this week with all teams in attendance as expected.

Game of the night goes to the game between 'Cunning Stunts' and 'Wolves GAFC', two closely matched teams who were very competitive throughout. As both have high aspirations for the season it was always going to be a good game and it did not disappoint, 'Wolves GAFC' came out on top this time and were able to come out 4-1 winners in the end and now climb into second position with a game against the league leaders next week. Both teams will go into the second half of the season looking to chase down the title and I'm sure 'Cunning Stunts' will be looking to get revenge when they meet again in the final game of the season.

'Knuckin Fackered' are our team of the week after winning there second game in three weeks. There 5-1 victory over 'Warstones FC' means they are fourth going into the second half of the season and will be looking to chase down the top three in the second half of the season.
