FINALS WEEK HAS BEEN DECIDED IN THE WOLVERHAMPTON CUP!

The group stages have come to an end in the Wolverhampton Cup in the Wolverhampton Sunday League. Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'Northway Mafia' were not at the league and failed to notify the area manager of there non-attendance. It is important that all teams try their hardest to attend there fixture each and every week and if this is not possible they contact the area manager in order for other arrangements to be made. The league will be in contact with the team to confirm there return next week. 

Game of the night this week goes to the game to decide Group B between 'Queens Shark Rangers' and 'PuyolPantsDown CF'. A winner takes all match that had everything and really could have gone either way, it was a shame the game had to end but a 3-3 draw was the end result which meant both teams ended the group stage on the same points meaning goal difference is what separated them. As 'Queens Shark Rangers' have the better goal difference they will be heading to the final to play 'Is It Half Time Yet?', who will come out on top in there 6pm game next week?

Team of the week are Tuesday league guests 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. After a commanding 8-3 win they confirmed there place in the final and will be looing to take home the title of Wolverhampton Cup winners back to Stourbridge. It has been great having them over the group stages and it will be interesting to see who will be our champions.

The fixtures for the new season will be going live on the website this week so be aware of this and hope you are all ready for finals week.
