FIVE GAMES INTO THE SEASON AS HALFWAY NEARS!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Wolverhampton Sunday League. It was however very disappointing that not one but two teams 'Beast FC' and 'PuyolPantsDown CF' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team captain of 'PuyolPantsDown CF' has already been contacted and confirmed that they will be back for the games next week, this will also be done for 'Beast FC'. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week. 

The game of the night this week was  the game between '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' and 'SLR McLaren'. An eleven goal thriller that saw some brilliant football throughout and saw @SLR McLaren' come out 6-5 winners in the end and therefore bounced back from there disappointment of the week before. As we start to near halfway no one team is pulling clear as teams remain in contention to be champions of Wolverhampton this season.

'FC Porto Cabin' are our team of the week with a dominant display over the league leaders at the start of the night 'The Lloyds'. They have now climbed up to within 2 points of top of the league and are chasing down the leaders, next up they face last seasons champions 'PuyolPantsDown CF'.
