FOUR GAMES DOWN IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

A brilliant night in the Wolverhampton Sunday League played at Khalsa Academy.

We did unfortunately have two non-attendances as 'FC Porto Cabin' and 'Darren's Social Club' were unable to fulfil their fixtures. The league will be in contact with 'FC Porto Cabin' to confirm there return this week, however as this is the second non-attendance of 'Darren's Social Club' in a row, as pre the terms of conditions they will now be removed from the league with immediate. Although it opens up a space in the league it is paramount that all teams try there hardest to get a team out each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Athletico V.2' and '50 Shades Of Andy Gray'. A fantastic game played out by both teams as they battled each other for the bragging rights between the two teams but it was 'Athletico V.2' who ran out 2-0 winners. 4 wins out of 4 for 'Athletico V.2' to start the season, will this continue going into a game against last seasons champions 'Bxllers Clxb'?

Division One game of the week this week is the game between league leaders 'Bench Odds XI' and 'Ketch Ke FC'. Two closely matched teams that played out a highly entertaining game where 'Bench Odds XI' continued there unbeaten start with a 3-2 win. After a very impressive start to the season can they hit halfway with there unbeaten start intact? Next up 'KFC Munchers'.

'No Farmers No Food FC' are our team of the week as they were in there clinical best to beat 'SLR McLaren'. With this win they are second and breathing down the neck of the league leaders, can they keep up this scoring form going into next weeks games and the halfway stage of the season?
