NEW SEASON OFF WITH A BANG IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

A fantastic start to the season in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive first night of the season. It was great to welcome new teams 'Athletico V.2' and 'SLR McLaren' who played out a very entertaining final game of the night and it will be interesting to see how they both get on in the season ahead. Good luck to both as the season progresses.

Lots of contenders for game of the night this week but its the game between 'Beast FC' and '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' that takes it. '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' were flying at half time as they went 3-0 up but a brilliant comeback in the second bought 'Beast FC' back into the game and meant the points were shared come the end of the game 3-3. It will be interesting to see how both teams fair as the season goes into week two.

Team of the week for this week are 'Puyol Pants Down CF'. making an impressive start to their title defence with a 3-1 win over the very impressive 'FC Porto Cabin'. Will they be the ones to watch for the title again come the end of the season?
