OFF WITH A BANG IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

A fantastic start to the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive first night of the season. It was great to welcome all teams for the first time and it will be interesting to see how all teams get on in the season ahead of you.

Game of the night this week goes to the game between 'Warstones FC' and '50 Shades Of Andy Gray'. Two sides hat were equally matched and worked hard throughout the game to get the win however it was 'Warstones FC' who were able to come out 3-1 winners. It will be interesting to see how both teams fair as the season goes into week two.

Team of the week for this week are 'Queens Shark Rangers'. making an impressive start to the season with a 4-2 win in the first game of the night. Will they be contenders for the title come the end of the season?

As a side note can all teams ensure they bring there own balls to warm up with moving forwards as I'm sure you can understand with the layout of the centre the match balls must be looked after in order to be used for matches only. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
