ONE WEEK AWAY FROM THE HALFWAY STAGE IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

A brilliant night in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for.

Game of the night this week goes to the game between 'The Lloyds' and '50 Shades Of Andy Gray'. A fantastic game played out by both teams as they battled hard to get the win with '50 Shades Of Andy Gray coming out on top in the end 2-1. '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' climb up to second with the win and go into a game with 'Beast FC' with all the confidence in the world, who will come out on top?

'PuyolPantsDown CF' are our team of the week as they were in there clinical best to beat 'Warstones FC'. With this win they are top by three points as we near the halfway stage of the season, next week 'The Bat Fastards'.

As a side note the league is still trying to contact Khalsa Academy every week to get a return date to the venue but we are yet to get the response we would like to tell everyone when we will be returning to the venue. The league will remain at The Royal School until we have a return date is given so keep your eyes peeled for an update as soon as the go ahead is given.

As another note their were no man of the matches given out tonight due to player cards not being filled out for the other players that got man of the match. Please ensure you have filled out your player cards in order to be in with a chance to be the player of the season come the end of the season.
