THREE TO GO IN WOLVERHAMPTON!

Another fantastic night of 6aside football in the Wolverhampton Sunday League. 

We did have one non-attendance as 'Ketch Ke FC' were not present for there fixture. The team have been contacted and will be back at the league for this coming week. It is paramount that all teams are at the league each and every week and contact the Area Manager if this is not possible in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each and every week.

Unfortunately we did also have a disciplinary issue in the first game of the night between 'Bxllers Clxb' and 'SLR McLaren'. William of 'SLR McLaren' decided to raise his hand to an opponents face and then was abusive to the referee following this so was sent from the field of play. Because of the incident in question the player has been given a £20 fine and been banned for two weeks from playing in the league. It is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly so it is important all players stay within the rules each and every week.

In more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' and 'No Farmers No Food FC', two evenly matched teams but it was 'No Farmers No Food FC' that came out 4-1 winners in the end in order to keep the pressure on the league leaders going into a crunch match next week. With three games to go they are two points off top and looking at beating the league leaders next week in order to close the gap, can they do it?

The game of the night in Division One was between 'Warstones FC' and 'Bench Odds XI'. Two teams going for promotion and 'Warstones FC' came very close to ending 'Bench Odds XI' unbeaten season so far as 'Bench Odds XI' were able to come away with the 1-0 win. This means that 'Bench Odds XI' need at least a point next week to take the Division One title, will they be able to do it?

Team of the week for this week is 'No Farmers No Food FC'. With a brilliant performance above they are going into there crunch game against 'Atletico V.2' with great confidence. Who will come out on top and be top of the league when there are two games left to play?
