VERY TIGHT AS WE HIT HALFWAY!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Game of the night this week goes to the game between '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' and 'FC Porto Cabin'. As all teams seem to be quite evenly matched throughout the league this game was no exception with '50 Shades Of Andy' going 2-0 up and 'FC Porto Cabin' fighting back to take a 3-2 win. With only four points between top and bottom of the league it is really anyone's guess who will be champions of Wolverhampton this season.

Team of the week for this week are 'SLR McLaren' with an impressive 5-1 victory over 'Warstones FC'. A star performance from their goalkeeper ensured they got the victory and are looking more impressive as the season goes on. Next up for them is new team 'Bxllers Clxb' who go into it after a good victory over 'Athletico V.2', who will come out on top?

All teams must note that the league will be on Sunday 11th July 2021(this Sunday) unless England reach the final of Euro 2020. If any team has any queries over this then please let your Area Manager know.
