WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKIING NEWS 29TH MAY

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Khalsa Academy.

It was another great evening in the Wolverhampton Sunday League as the season came to end for another season. Unfortunately we did have one non attendance as 'Red Terror V6' were not present for their fixture. The league has been in contact with them and they have confirmed there return for the first games of the new season this coming week. It is paramount that all teams try there best to be at the league each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you are having any problems then please contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, congratulations 'KFC Munchers' as they are crowned champtions of the Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton Sunday Leisure Leagues! They win the league with 36 points which included an incredible 18 victories and only 4 losses one of which was on the final game of the season. They also finished the season with a goal difference of 65. We now look forward to seeing if they can do the double next season. They will now have the choice to either be awarded a trophy and medals at the league or a trip into the monthly prize draw! We would also like to congratulate our runners up 'Bench Odds XI' on another brilliant season. 

The MVP for the season is Bradley Rogers of 'Warstones FC' as he finished the season as the player of the season racking up 6 MVP performances during the season! Well done also to Sean Griffin of 'Bench Odds XI' who finishes the season as top goalscorer. All individual awards win a trip into the monthly prize draw so well done to both.
