WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 13th FEBRUARY 22

A fantastic evening of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Sunday League.

Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'Portugal' did not attend their fixture. They have already been in contact to confirm there return this week. It is paramount that teams are at the league each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if this is not possible then teams should contact your Area Manager.

In more positive news, the league contained a great set of games throughout the evening with all teams challenging each other and pushing for the wins. The highlight of the evening was a 3-3 draw between 'OUTONBALE' and '50 Shades Of Andy Grey'. Both of the teams looked like they could grab the victory as they battled on till the end. It was 'OUTONBALE's Jordi Sall who secured the draw for them with an excellent hattrick, however excellent performances from all over the field which is also now shown in the table as only 2 points seperate both sides as we head into game week 11.

The team of the evening this week is 'KFC Munchers' with their excellent performance which led to a 7-3 victory against an in form 'Red Terror V6' it was an excellent team performance with 4 different players all grabbing goals. The standout player was Kyle Sandland who managed to score three goals making him top scorer in the league currently with 14 goals in 10 games! We look forward to see if he can improve on this impressive tally. This impressive performance puts them top of the table after game week 10, just 1 point in front of 'Bench Odds XI' who also won this week.
