WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 23RD APRIL

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Khalsa Academy.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

We also welcome new team 'Barcelo' to the league putting on an impressive showing in there first game. All the best moving forward as the new season draws near!

The first game of the night was an excellent game to take the game of the week as 'Coseley Boys' and 'Bostin Bliston' played out a close affair that was only separated by the one goal. It was 'Coseley Boys' who came away with the 3-2 win and will be looking to build on this in the final weeks of the season in order to maintain their top spot. Four points separates the top four and it is anyone’s to take, who will finish the strongest to take the title.

Team of the week is given to 'Tekkerini' with their 4-1 win on the night. What can they all show us between now and the end of the season? 

The league is now off for this next Bank Holiday Sunday (Sunday 30th April 2023) but will resume for the Bank Holiday Sunday the week after (Sunday 7th May 2023) as the centre is closed this week but open the week after. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a great bank holiday weekend and see you all on the 7th.
