A fantastic start to the season in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive first night of the season. It was great to welcome new teams 'Unathletic Madrid' and 'Class on Grass' who played out in two very entertaining games, and it will be interesting to see how they both get on in the season ahead. Good luck to both as the season progresses!

Lots of contenders for game of the night this week but it's the game between 'ZeroTolerance' and '50 Shades of Andy Gray' to start the new season off that takes it. 10 goals and a lot of entertaining football played to start the season, but it was 'ZeroTolerance' who ran out 6-4 winners in the end. With this fantastic start it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes for them and if '50 Shades of Andy Gray' can hit back when the two teams face off again later in the season.

Team of the week for this week are defending champions 'Red Terror V6', making an impressive start their title win over the new team 'Class on Grass'. Will they be the ones to watch again for the season ahead? Next up the other new team 'Unathletic Madrid'.
