WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 27th FEBRUARY 22
Another great evening in Wolverhampton with a lot of great games played throughout. We did have one non-attendance as 'Bxllers Clxb' were not present for there fixture, they have confirmed there return for next week. It is paramount all teams are turning up for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible and contact the Area Manager if any team is having any problems.
In more positive news, we welcomed new team 'Eyes On The Fries' who were fantastic in there first game. The league would like to wish them the best of luck as the season progresses.
The Wolverhampton Khalsa Sunday league continued in fine fashion as the teams battled it out between each other to climb up the league table. However, there can only be one game of the week and this was resulted in a 4-3 victory for 'OutOnBale' over 'Red Terror V6' in an extremely close encounter between the two sides. It was only a brace from Jordi Sall which separated the two teams which now means there is only one point which separates the sides with limited games to go in the season.
The team of the evening was especially difficult to pick this week with all sides playing well and picking up very important points. This weeks team of the week goes to 'Angry Birds FC' as they were able to beat the team that were top of the league at the start of the night 'KFC Munchers' 3-1. With this result they are looking to chase down the top teams as we near the seasons conclusion.
