WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 5TH JUNE 2022

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Khalsa Academy.

A fantastic start to the season in the Wolverhampton Sunday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive first night of the season. It was great to welcome new teams 'The Wolfpac' and 'PSV Hangovers' who played out in two very entertaining games and it will be interesting to see how they both get on in the season ahead. Good luck to both as the season progresses.

Lots of contenders for game of the night this week but its the game between 'KFC Munchers' and '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' that takes it. '50 Shades Of Andy Gray' were flying at half time as they went 3-0 up but a brilliant comeback in the second bought reigning champions 'KFC Munchers' back into the game and meant the points were shared come the end of the game 3-3. It will be interesting to see how both teams fair as the season goes into week two.

Team of the week for this week are 'ZeroTolerance'. making an impressive start to the new season with a 6-2 win over the new team 'PSV Hangovers'. Will they be the ones to watch for the season ahead? Next up '50 Shades Of Andy Gray'.
