WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 7TH MAY

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Khalsa Academy.

Another great night of action in the Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton 6-a-side league with all teams in attendance as expected.

This week our game of the week was a close affair between 'Tekkerini' and 'Coseley Boys' with 'Coseley Boys' coming out on top 4-3 in a match that could have had huge ramifications on the title but the league leaders came out on top in the end. With 'Coseley Boys' two points clear at the top it is now in there hands but does not take away from 'Tekkerini' who will be looking to build on this result with the new season fast approaching. With how close the title race has been all season it will be interesting to see if there are any twists and turns before the end of the season.

The team of the week for their performance against 'Red Terror V6' was 'Barcelona'. Still fairly new to the league they are looking to settle in ahead of the new season just around the corner. Who will come out on top when they take on 'Coseley Boys' next week?

As a side note,  the centre has been in contact as the central reservation barrier to the barriers of the car park was damaged over the weekend at the venue. The centre have asked me to share this message with everyone in order to find out if anyone playing in the league knows anything about it. The school has CCTV everywhere on site so will find out what's happened but we are asking anyone that knows anything to contact in order to speed the process up.
